After serving in WWII and going to plumbing school using the GI Bill, Charles Weldon Jr started Weldon Plumbing in 1968. After he encouraged his son, Charles Weldon III (Who we all call Chip) to go to school for Heating and Air Conditioning, it was added to the services provided.
Unfortunately, Chip’s dad died suddenly in 1975 and a young Chip poured his heart into his work. He took care of his customers, and they took care of him. Now, he is a staple in the Tucker GA area.
We operate out of the house Chips dad built in 1956, and have had the same phone number since 1968.
Chip met Paul around 30 years ago in church and he soon started working with us. Everyone loves Paul and he is still going strong.
Dale has been with us for more than 10 years and is who we call when things get tough.
We also have tools and other historical items we will probably take pictures of with blurbs to go with them.
We (my husband and I) turned on the AC for the first time Friday night and nothing would kick on. I called Weldon heating and air (10:15 pm Fri night) and they got back to me extremely fast and then set an appointment for the next morning. The work team was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast! They did an outstanding job finding the problem and taking care of our unit. They are very reasonably priced as well. We will be reoccurring customers! 🙂 – The Bruces
